MBBS admission in Bangladesh requires the following documentation
- Academic credentials and all necessary certificates duly attested by the competent authority, i.e. the Foreign Ministry of the destination country and by the respective Foreign mission based in Dhaka.
- Attested photocopy of Equivalence Certificate issued by DGHS, Dhaka, Bangladesh (for students with “O” & “A” level).
- Successful candidates for the course have to show all academic certificates and mark-sheets / transcripts in original during their admission process.
- Copy of passport
- 6 passport size photographs
There are certain criteria set for MBBS admission abroad which is the following:
- Aspirant or guardian should have an international passport.
- Aspirant should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December.
- International students should not have more than two years of gap after completion of Class 12 which is a criterion set by the Medical Universities.
- Foreign Students from India, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, Pakistan, Sri Lanka or any Gulf Countries who have passed Class 10th and Class 12th (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology examinations and scored 60% or more in any Examinations will be eligible for admission.
- Mark Sheets (specially Class X and Class XII (10+2) have to be duly attested by the concerned authority of host country. Mark sheets have to be forwarded to the Director of Medical Education for verification.
Bangladesh Government issues Student visa to interested international students wishing to study MBBS in Bangladesh. To apply for a Bangladesh Student Visa, the following documentation is required:
- Passport with at least three months validity
- Two recent passport size photographs
- Offer letter from the recognized Government affiliated University in Bangladesh.
(ii)Bank statement of the guardian of the student.
(iii)Sponsoring certificate to be provided by the guardian confirming the commitment to bear the educational expenses.
