Immigration Department in Malaysia named The Expatriate Services Division (ESD) has implemented new rules and regulations, effective from August 1, 2016. For Hospitality Jobs in Malaysia getting work authorisation is must and the intern has to forward the application for internship via the ESD online portal. Once the ESD approves the application, international students are required to visit the nearest embassy where they can receive the Single Entry Visa (SEV) for entry into the country.
Any ESD-registered company has to get permission for hiring international candidates.Applications qualifying the criteria’s will need a support letter from Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp). TalentCorp is a government agency (established in the year 2011) under the guidance of Prime Minister’s office which monitors, controls and hires the right talent in Malaysia. Accordingly the student is advised to obtain the Pass upon arrival in Malaysia.
