As per UK immigration (UK Border Agency) norms, there are two categories of visa under which employers can hire interns and full time skilled employees for hospitality jobs.The  visa types is as follows:

Tier 5 visa (Government Authorized Exchange)

The Tier 5 Intern scheme is a Government Authorized Exchange (GAE) scheme which authorizes undergraduates and graduates from foreign countries to work in UK. Chef recruitments provides UK employers the opportunity, to recruit and hire the brightest and best skilled professionals from foreign lands. Candidates who are willing to contribute and learn skills which they can take back to their home country.

Employers can hire suitable candidates who meet the criteria’s for Tier 5(GAE) Visa. Interns given permission to live under the Tier 5 (Temporary Worker: Government Authorized Exchange) Visa category, will be able to live and work in UK for a time that the visa is valid  which is upto a maximum time period of 12 months.

Tier 2 (General) visa

As per UK immigration norms employers can hire skilled professionals who are foreigners living outside European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.Candidates can apply for Tier 2 (General) visa.

Initially the visa is granted for up to 2 years and later candidates can apply for a renewal for another 5 years. As this visa is for a long term & for full-time work, employers can hire skilled professionals as per their requirement.Talented and experienced foreign employees can add more value to the host companies business

As per the immigration norms, employers has to offer an appropriate salary of £20,800 or more to the employee.
